Open Letter to Alliance for Retired Americans

I read with great interest your mailing opposing the privateering (formerly privatizing) of Social Security and reducing excessive drug profits and prices. Petitioning existing Congressmen is ineffective and foolhardy since they are all Suttonists: they go where the money is. They are bribed to vote the Demopublican party line to make the rich richer, and they do nothing else. You can read my proposed solutions on my web site, especially

Here is something you can do that will be effective. AARP is supposed to prevent privateering of Social Security and to lower drug prices and profits, so why don't they? With 35 million members and votes, they could impeach Bush and stop the Iraq massacre, so why don't they? I suspect because AARP decision makers are bribed out of their skulls by the Wall Street lobby and the pharma lobby. Proving that and convincing the AARP members of it could lead to an AARP shake-up to replace all AARP decision makers with people like you and I.
